*Economics Program Walailak University, opens new perspectives in Taiwan* *Learn to apply economic theories to the sports and hospitality industries* On the afternoon of August 16, 2024, Walailak University economics faculty and students had a special opportunity to listen to a lecture by Professor Chin-Yi Fang from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) on the topic of “Research on the Application of Economic and Financial Theories in the Sports and Hospitality Industries”, which was a very useful knowledge for faculty and students in integrating economics and the hospitality industry. In addition, we received a courtesy call from Mr. Arthur Hsiao, who introduced us to Top-BOSS and BLOM (Business-based Learning Object Modeling) technology, which will help make teaching economics more fun and effective.
