School of Accountancy and Finance, Walailak University has conducted academic service projects to serve local society by focusing on educating and raising the quality of life of communities in the university area. It provides consulting services in order to transfer knowledge and innovation as well as promoting and pushing for the integration of entrepreneurs, communities and people in the area. By using knowledge from all 3 programs in the School of Accountancy and Finance, namely accounting program, finance program, and economics program.

          School of Accounting and Finance focuses on the integration of knowledge for society promote local leadership especially the community surrounding the university Development of tourist attractions and upgrading the potential of tourist attractions especially marine attractions which is an important resource base to drive the economy to generate income for the community. create a social network and related to the environment which is what attracts tourists and is a resource that will generate income for the community

          The enhancement of tourism potential and standards for the development of coastal cities in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in the areas of Tha Sala District, Sichon District and Khanom District is therefore important to create as a tourist destination with readiness and potential to accommodate tourists who are expected to arrive into the cities. It includes the development of local tourism operators including building a network of cooperation partners.

          This open platform aims to acknowledge problems and needs unswervingly from operators and relevant agencies in the area. The School of Accountancy and Finance become a part of supporting and working together under the mission of academic services and research in the future. The project aims to: (1) to brainstorm opinions on the development of tourism in coastal cities in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, raising the potential and standards of tourism for the development of coastal cities in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province; and (2) to promote and upgrade the potential and tourism standards for the development of coastal cities in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. under the project It consists of 3 sub-activities:

Activity 1 Brainstorming to raise and develop tourism standards in Nakhon Si Thammarat coastal cities

Activity 2 Development and upgrading of tourism and marine tourism operators

Activity 3 Building a network for the development of marine and coastal tourism in Nakhon Si Thammarat province

          The project had successfully carried out the objectives in the area of Khanom District, Sichon District and Tha Sala District. Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. It provides services to more than 100 operations, create a network of cooperation with government agencies, the private sector and educational institutions and 90% of project participants satisfied because the project participants gained more knowledgeand able to use the knowledge to be of practical use Resulting in the development of sustainable tourist attractions. and strengthening the marine tourism business to be able to operate sustainably which results in stimulating the economy in the local community. It also encourages more tourists and visitors to resulting in income distribution strengthen partners cooperation of all relevant sectors to achieve the same goal
