Message from the Dean, School of Accountancy and Finance

On May 14, 2565, the Walailak University Council approved the establishment of new departments and the merging of additional units to meet the context of changes and advances in the management of organizations and departments in order for Walailak University to rise to the world ranking. According to the policy presented by the President.

On this occasion, the School of Accountancy and Finance was approved to be established as a new school, which separated the Department of Accounting, Business Administration and Economics from the old School of Management. Since the establishment of the university since 2541.

In 2565, students will be offered two disciplines and three programs, including accounting, finance, and economics. There are 2 students, and in the academic year 3, which will start on June 461, 2565, there are 11 students who have applied and confirmed their eligibility, which will be the first batch of students from the School of Accounting and Finance that has just been set up as a new school.

In addition, there are 2 faculty members in 3 disciplines, 25 of which are accounting, digital finance, and economics, with a total of 12 faculty members, 13 of whom are doctoral degrees, 48 master’s degrees, or 52% of professors with doctoral degrees, and 25% of them are master’s degrees. All 9 students have been trained and certified by UKPSF (The UK Professional Standards Framework) or 36% according to the university’s policy to develop the university to be a quality university. Walailak University will be ranked in the world according to the vision of Walailak University.

On this occasion, We would like to welcome the first generation of students from the School of Accountancy and Finance and the students of all 3 courses transferred from the old School of Management to the new School of Accountancy and Finance. All faculty members will take care of your children as well as our children according to the aspiration of the President and Walailak University to produce graduates to be both “good and talented” in order to “excel academically and proficiently” according to the intentions and needs of those who will use Walailak University graduates ready to enter society in order to develop the country in tandem with the changes in the world
