On 11 February 2026, Walailak University, Thailand, hosted the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony with Universitas Siliwangi, Indonesia, at Walailak University. The MoU marks a significant step forward in expanding international academic networks and fostering long-term collaboration between the two institutions.

The ceremony was attended by executives from the School of Accountancy and Finance, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Shubham Pathak, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, who joined the event to support and advance international engagement initiatives. The participation reflects the School’s commitment to promoting global partnerships that enhance opportunities for students and staff.

The partnership is expected to cover key areas of cooperation such as student and staff exchange, joint academic activities (seminars, workshops, and conferences), collaboration in teaching and curriculum development, as well as joint research and international publications. These initiatives aim to create meaningful and sustainable outcomes for both institutions.

This MoU represents Walailak University’s continued commitment to internationalization and regional collaboration within ASEAN, contributing to the enhancement of education quality, research capacity, and diverse learning experiences for students in the years ahead.
