On August 25, 2025, third-year students and lecturers from the Economics Program, School of Accountancy and Finance, Walailak University, participated in the Academic and Cultural Exchange Program at the School of Banking and Finance, National Economics University (NEU), Hanoi, Vietnam. This activity was part of the international study trip program for third-year students.
The delegation received a warm welcome from NEU faculty members, including Dr. Phan Huu Nghi – Vice Dean, Dr. Pham Sy Long – Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department, Dr. Tran Phuoc Huy – Chief of the School of Banking and Finance, and Dr. Nguyen Viet Hung – Lecturer, Faculty of Economics.
Throughout the day, students engaged in various activities, such as cultural performances by NEU students, a lecture on “Introduction to Vietnamese Economy and Business Environment”, cultural exchange sessions and basic Vietnamese language practice, a campus tour, and the exchange of souvenirs between students of both universities.
National Economics University is recognized as one of Vietnam’s leading universities, ranked among the world’s Top 1,000 (QS World University Rankings), and is highly regarded in the fields of economics and finance.
This study trip provided Walailak students with valuable international exposure, enabling them to broaden their perspectives in economics, strengthen academic and cultural understanding, and establish networks of cooperation between Walailak University and National Economics University for future collaboration
