On July 18, 2025, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, warmly welcomed Professor Dr. Kim Inchoen from the United States during his official visit to the university. The purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.
Also in attendance were Associate Professor Dr. Charun Boonkarn, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr. Neeranart Kaewprasert Rakhangthong, Dean of the School of Accountancy and Finance; Assistant Professor Dr. Jintanae Ruesue; and Dr. Kanokwan Meesuk, Associate Dean of the School of Accountancy and Finance.
The meeting focused on exchanging academic perspectives, exploring joint curriculum development, promoting research initiatives, and strengthening international partnerships. This visit marks an important step toward enhancing the global competitiveness of Walailak University’s academic programs, faculty, and students.
