History

The School of Accounting and Finance is a unit of Walailak University which was established by the Walailak University Council at its meeting No. 5/2565 on May 14, 2565 by separating the Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Business Administration Program (Business Management and Finance in the Digital Age). Bachelor of Economics, Master of Business Administration in Innovation Management and Business Development, and Doctor of Philosophy in Innovation Management and Business Development The main mission is to produce graduates in accounting. The School of Accounting and Finance began accepting the first batch of 2565 students in the Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Business Administration (Digital Business and Finance Management) and Bachelor of Economics programs, with 200 students in the said program transferred and 349 students in the graduate program from the School of Management.

At present, the School of Accounting and Finance offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees with the aim of creating graduates with real knowledge, ability, both academic and practical, based on the concept of full cooperative education management (Cooperative Education) in order for graduates to excel academically and proficient in practice, which is the aspiration of Walailak University.
